Looking through the Gibson Production Numbers Lists 61133 it comes in at late 1961 to early 1962. Back when Blizzard and Diary came out I would tell people that Bob was the real star of the records. It had some nice tones but none as appropriate for that band as an EB-3 and it didn't have that EB-3 growl so I went back and got my EB-3 back. The Babicz bridge is high-quality and the pick-ups can be used either as humbuckers or the volume pots can be pulled out to make them single-coil. So when I got the EB-3 to use on that album I used one of Randy's stacks cause he had a couple of these Marshall 100 Watt stacks and a couple of cabinets and a couple of heads and that so I used one head and one 4X12 mic'd for that album. Very similar to the early 50's ones, I have got a couple of early 50's ones, a 53 Precision, the butterscotch with the black pickguard, that's really nice, I like that one and the other one I've got is the '55.
